If you're experiencing very slow or failed bounce/exports with Musio in your DAW, we’re here to help troubleshoot. Follow these steps to get things moving smoothly again:
Step 1: Make Sure You’re Using the Latest Version of Musio
Outdated versions of Musio can sometimes cause performance issues.
- Open Musio Connect (Musio’s companion app).
- Look at the bottom-left corner of the window.
- If you see a red update link, click it to install the latest version.
- If there’s no red link, you’re already up to date.
After updating, relaunch your DAW and try bouncing again.
Step 2: Contact Support
If the bounce still takes too long or fails after updating, contact our Support team at support@musio.com and include the following:
- A description of what you’re experiencing and let us know you already updated Musio to the latest version.
- Try capturing a short screen recording of what you’re seeing and attach that in your email.
- Share the DAW session with us. To do that, disable or remove third-party plugins to avoid compatibility issues, zip the session folder and share it via Dropbox, Google Drive, or WeTransfer. Opening this will let our Development team try to reproduce the issue on our end.
Step 3: Submit Musio Log Files
Musio’s log files help our development team investigate technical issues. To send them:
- Open Musio.
- Click the three-line menu in the top-right corner.
- Select Submit Feedback.
- Check the Include Log Files box.
- Add a quick description of what happened, and click Submit.
We’ll take it from there and get back to you as soon as possible. Thanks for hanging in there. We’re on it!
