The VAT collected goes to the purchaser’s country, not the provider’s country.

Recent changes in tax laws require VAT to be applied to online software and digital goods. We must collect VAT to remain compliant with these regulations.
What is Musio’s company VAT number?

Why does my invoice show VAT instead of it being removed?
VAT rates vary by country and region. During checkout, you can enter a VAT number (if applicable) for automatic deduction. If you believe VAT should not have been charged, you can contact our payment processor, Paddle, at assist@paddle.com to request a revised invoice.

I live outside the European Union. Why is VAT still being added?
Many countries outside the EU also impose VAT on digital goods. Musio does not control VAT charges, but you can contact Paddle at assist@paddle.com to check if any adjustments can be made.
Can I purchase Musio in USD to avoid VAT?
Unfortunately, we do not have a way to change the currency to USD to remove VAT. You may contact Paddle at assist@paddle.com for further details.
Can I get my CIF on the invoice in order to deduct VAT?
If you have already purchased Musio and want to add CIF to the existing invoice, you can reach out to our payment processing company, Paddle’s support team (sellers@paddle.com) and they will add it to the invoice for you and it will affect all future transactions.
If you haven’t purchased Musio yet, you can enter in the CIF while checking out after selecting your country in the field that says enter VAT identifier.
