If you're having trouble creating your Musio account, verifying your email, or redeeming your license code, this guide will help you resolve common issues:
I signed up for an account but never received a verification email.
- Check your spam or junk folders—sometimes the verification email gets filtered there.
- If you still can’t find it, contact our Support team at support@musio.com, and we’ll send you a direct verification link.
I clicked the verification link, but I see a “Safe Link Protection” message.
- This message comes from a firewall or security software blocking the email.
- To fix this, disable the firewall temporarily or whitelist Musio in your security settings.
- Once adjusted, you should be able to access the verification link.
I used one email for the free trial and another email for my Musio 1 purchase, and now nothing is working.
To resolve this, ensure you're logged in with the email you used for your Musio 1 purchase. Follow these steps:
-
Log in to the correct account:
- Go to portal.musio.com and log out.
- Log back in using the email address you used to purchase Musio 1.
-
Restart Musio and Musio Connect:
- Close your DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) and any open instances of Musio.
- Open Musio Connect (Musio’s companion app).
- In the top-right corner, check the current email address. Click Log Out and log in again using the correct purchase email.
-
Restart your computer and log in to Musio using the same email.
- Musio should now work correctly!
I haven’t received my License Code.
-
Check your purchase confirmation email.
- The License Code should be listed at the top of the confirmation email.
- Check your spam or junk folders if you didn’t receive a confirmation email.
- If you haven’t received the confirmation email at all, contact support@musio.com, and we’ll issue a new license as soon as possible.
I entered my License Code, but it’s not working.
If you see a “License code not found” error:
-
Check if your license is already active.
- Log in to portal.musio.com.
- In the middle column, do you see your license name with “Active” next to it?
- If yes, your license is already redeemed, and you’ll no longer need the code—you can install Musio and start using it by logging in at portal.musio.com and clicking one of the installer buttons in the top corner.
-
If you see “No active membership” in your account:
- Make sure you’re logged into the correct email address that you purchased Musio with. Make sure the email you’re logged in with has no typos in it.
- If all looks good with the email but you’re still seeing this error message, contact support@musio.com, and we’ll resolve this for you as soon as possible.
I purchased Musio but never received a confirmation email.
- Check your spam or junk folders in case the email was filtered.
- If you still don’t see it, contact support@musio.com, and we’ll verify your purchase and resend the confirmation email.
I bought a Musio 1 license, but when I try to open Musio, it still asks me to purchase it.
This issue can sometimes happen if you previously initiated a refund and then repurchased Musio 1. Contact support@musio.com, and we’ll get everything squared away for you.
