If the Musio window appears too large—cutting off parts of the interface or extending beyond your computer screen—there are a few simple ways to resize it. Follow the steps below to restore Musio to a manageable size:
Method 1: Adjust the UI Scale in Musio Connect
- Open Musio Connect (Musio’s companion app).
- Click on Settings and scroll to the bottom.
- Locate the "UI Scale" option and adjust it to a smaller size.
This should reduce the size of the Musio window to fit within your screen.
Method 2: Reset the Window Size in Musio
If the UI Scale adjustment doesn’t work, try resetting the window size directly in Musio:
- Open Musio.
- Click the three-line menu (☰) in the top-right corner.
- From the dropdown menu, select "Reset Window Size".
This should automatically restore Musio to its default window size.
Method 3: Manually Reset Musio’s Settings (Mac Only)
If the steps above didn’t fix the issue, you can manually reset Musio Connect’s settings:
- Close both Musio and Musio Connect.
- On your Mac, click on a blank area of the desktop.
- In the top menu bar, click Go > Go to Folder….
- Then paste in this settings file and hit enter: ~/Library/Application Support/Musio Connect/Musio Connect Settings.config
- You can delete this file to reset Musio Connect's settings which will hopefully revert Musio to the regular size.
- Alternatively, you can look for UIScalePercent="150" in this document and edit it back to UIScalePercent="100" and then save it.
