Here are some error messages you might encounter during installation:
- “The program can’t start because MSVCP140.dll is missing from your computer.”
- “Code execution cannot continue because MSVCP140.dll was not found.”
- “Code execution cannot continue because VCRUNTIME140.dll was not found.”
- “The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with this package. The error code is 2503.”
- “The installer has encountered an unexpected error…error code 2753.”

Step 1: Install this Microsoft Package

Download and install the Visual C++ Redistributable Package from Microsoft:
