Here are some frequently asked questions about the Cinematic Composing course:
What is Cinematic Composing, and how does it relate to Musio?
Cinematic Composing is a separate company and educational platform founded by Marc Jovani, offering courses in film/media composition, orchestration, and workflow.
Many of Cinematic Composing’s courses use Musio and may include things like templates, MIDI files, or orchestrated examples as part of the teaching materials.
If you have a BRAND_SWAP license (i.e. you’re enrolled via Cinematic Composing or in one of their bundles), that gives you rights to use Musio under the terms defined by that licensing agreement.
What we can help you with (Musio side)
Help with installation, activation, updates, or technical issues within Musio itself (e.g. plugin errors, library loading, performance issues).
Assistance with troubleshooting for Musio as a standalone product.
Guidance on how to use features in Musio.
All other Musio specific questions/inquiries.
What we can’t do (Cinematic Composing course materials)
Because Cinematic Composing is a separate entity, we do not have access to their proprietary course content, including:
Course-specific Musio templates (that they’ve customized for their lessons)
MIDI files, scores, orchestration files, or any downloadable materials provided only in the course
Lecture content, assignments, or grading
Support for aspects of the course curriculum (lesson-by-lesson help, workflow critique, etc.)
In short: if your question is about course content (templates, exercises, etc.), that’s something only the Cinematic Composing team can assist with.
How to request course materials or template access
If you need the Musio template or any course files (MIDI, orchestrations, etc.), that comes with the Cinematic Composing course here’s what to do:
Email your course instructor or Marc Jovani directly as they are the ones who distribute those materials.
Use your course contact or support channels (forums, student portal, etc.) to request missing files.
When sending your request, include your course name and enrollment ID (if applicable), and specify which template or file you’re missing.
