What To Do If The Search Bar In Musio Doesn’t Work In Logic

If you're using Musio as a plugin inside Logic Pro and you're unable to type in the Search bar it is most likely because Logic thinks you're entering keyboard shortcuts instead. Don't worry though! Here's how to fix it:

 

Step-by-Step Fix

  1. Click Directly in the Search Bar
    • Open Musio in your Logic session, and click directly inside the Search bar. Make sure you see a blinking red cursor as this confirms Musio is ready to accept text input.
  2. Restart Logic Pro
    • If clicking in the Search bar doesn’t help, completely close Logic Pro and relaunch it. Then try again to type in the Search bar.
  3. Reload the Musio Plugin
    • If you're still having trouble:
      • Remove the Musio instance from your track.
      • Reload it as a fresh plugin.
      • Try clicking in the Search bar again to type.
