Having trouble logging into your Musio account? Below are common login and password issues along with simple steps to resolve them:
I’m trying to create a Musio account, but I’m getting an error saying I need more variation in my password.
When creating a password for your Musio account, follow these guidelines:
- ✅ At least 8 characters long
- ✅ Include uppercase and lowercase letters
- ✅ At least one number
- 🚫 Avoid repeated or sequential characters (e.g., 12345, !@#$%)
- 🚫 Do not use common words like “password,” “guest,” “test,” or “temporary.”
If you’re still getting an error, contact our Support team at support@musio.com.
I’m getting an “Unauthorized” error message when I try to log in.
This error means the email and/or password entered doesn’t match our records. Here’s how to fix it:
1. Double-check for typos in your email and password
- Common mistakes include misspelling your email domain (e.g., @gail.com instead of @gmail.com).
- Close your DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) and try logging into Musio in standalone mode (outside of your DAW).
- Manually type your email and password instead of using copy/paste or autofill.
2. Contact Support if the issue persists
If you’re still seeing the error, take a screenshot of the error message and email it to support@musio.com.
- If the credentials are correct but you still can’t log in, we’ll send you a password reset link to help you regain access.
I requested a password reset but never received the email. What should I do?
1. Check your spam or junk folders
- Sometimes password reset emails get filtered into spam. Be sure to check those folders in your email account.
2. Contact Support if you still don’t receive it
- If the reset email isn’t in your spam folder, reach out to support@musio.com. We’ll send you a new reset link so you can regain access to your account as quickly as possible.

- Check your spam or junk folders for the reset email.
- If you still don’t receive it, contact support@musio.com so we can assist you.
