Welcome to Musio 1! This guide will walk you through getting started—from purchasing Musio 1 to setting up your account and installing the software. Follow the steps below:
1. Complete Your Purchase
- Visit musio.com/pricing and click “Buy Now” under the Musio 1 option.
-
During checkout, you’ll be asked to provide:
- Email address
- Country
- Zip/postcode
- (Optional) Check the box to join our mailing list for news and updates.
- Enter your payment information.
-
At the bottom right, verify that your email address is correct.
- If there’s a typo, click “Change” to fix it before completing your purchase.
- Click “Pay” to finalize your purchase.
2. Create Your Musio Account
- After completing your purchase, check your email for a confirmation email with your purchase details and setup instructions. If you don’t see it, check your spam/junk folders.
- Visit portal.musio.com and create an account using the same email address you used during purchase.
3. Verify Your Email
- Check your inbox for a verification email from Musio.
- Click the verification link inside the email to activate your account.
-
Once verified, you may see this message (all account sign-ups include a free trial):
“Congratulations! Your free trial has begun!”- This does not mean that your Musio 1 purchase hasn’t gone through, just that a free trial has been started alongside it with your account creation.
4. Redeem Your License Code
- Log into your account at portal.musio.com.
- In the middle column, click “Redeem License Code”.
-
Enter the license code you received in your purchase confirmation email.
- If you enter the license code and get a “License code not found” error, the license may have already been deposited in your account. Refresh the page and check in the middle column if you see “Musio 1 - Active”. If you do, you’ll no longer need the license code and can continue to the next step.
5. Install Musio
- Click one of the installer buttons in the top-right corner to download and install Musio on your computer.
6. Open Musio & Log In
- Launch Musio.
- Log in using the email and password you provided during account creation.
- Your Musio 1 license is now active—start exploring!
A Note on Free Trials After Purchasing Musio 1
If you log into portal.musio.com and still see an active free trial, don’t worry!
- You can confirm your Musio 1 license is active by looking at the middle column of the portal. You should see a status bar that says: “Musio 1 Active”.
- The free trial remains active because it’s technically a trial of the subscription-based plans and because we allow users to hold a subscription and a perpetual license at the same time, the trial will still show as active for the remainder of its duration.
- However, Musio 1 is a perpetual license, meaning you will not be automatically enrolled in a subscription. The free trial will eventually expire, but your Musio 1 license remains active with no further action needed.
- And finally, if you receive automated emails like “Your free trial is going to expire soon” or “Your free trial has expired,” you can safely ignore them. Since you’ve already purchased Musio 1, your license remains active, and no further action is required.
